I love the muscular simplicity of Dale Keown's art - obviously, on a book like Incredible Hulk, that's a strength. But Peter David's stories also manage to be wry and entertaining without losing the core, appealing conceit at the center of Hulk's popularity - that is, an internal aspect of oneself that stifles success (be it anger, ugliness) and that is impossible to fully control.4/5.

You can't go wrong with any of the eight volume 'Visionaries' series pertaining to David's milestone run of the Incredible Hulk. In the last (at least for the foreseeable future) volume, contains the famous "War & Pieces," story line, his powerful 30 anniversary special, and a couple of stand-alone issues that provides a satisfying read/5.
